Interactive™ (PI) has adapted a highly sophisticated detection engine that is
used in a business developed application called Policy Central Professional (PC
Pro). The difference between the two products is that Parent Interactive has
been designed for Home Use. Particular attention has been paid to Child
Protection and consequently "Parental Help". The Internet is, without doubt, a
major source of education to children and young adults alike. However, there
are problems faced in today’s Internet environment such as unwanted access to
sites offering pornographic material and online gambling etc. Also, the unseen
user that could lurk behind the mask of a false profile or fake UID (User
Identity). As a Parent it is essential that you have control of the computer
environment your children has access to.
Predators & Paedophiles are a real-time threat, any and every time a child is
online. Children have become a prime target for this type of predator. Chat
rooms and Instant Messaging programs are a haven for online abusers, luring
children into cyber sex sessions and extracting personal information. (Parents
are rightly concerned) Some child protection software only protects the
children while they stay within the confines of their defined browser. Children

PC is fully printable, which allows the Parent to discuss and positively
interact with the child.
While Parents are at work, the software can be configured to send an e-mail of
any violation that happens on the home PC. The software will also allow the
Parent to initiate specific times the children can use the Internet, by means
of a specialised time console of which the Parent has full control.
PI contains specialised Libraries which have been formulated by Hi-Tech crime
units, Government Agencies and Social Services (US & UK) to ensure that all
safety areas are covered, including Drugs, Alcohol abuse, Pornography,
Predators and Sexually Explicit terminology. The easy to use custom library
allows the Parent to add and remove words/phrases at their discretion.
