With Live Register™ Access Terminals installed at entry points to your secure areas, identification is achieved by placing a thumb on the scanner. Only if authentication is successful and access has been granted to that area will the lock be released.

Access through a door can be restricted either in a single direction (with a simple door release switch on the opposite side of the door) or in both directions requiring fingerprint authentication to open the door from either side.

Scalable to meet your future needs

For smaller areas such as store rooms, a standalone unit is available which also doubles up as a management console allowing enrolment of new users and modification of access rights at the Access Terminal itself.

• Easy to manage - no cards or key codes are required eliminating the need to remember and change lock codes periodically. Visitors can be enrolled and granted access by an enrolment process which takes less than 10 seconds.
• Easy to use – staff and students identify themselves using their fingerprints in a process which requires minimal instruction. Relevant instructions are displayed on an LCD panel on the Access Terminal.
• Global security policy – newly enrolled staff and students are immediately known to all Access Terminals. Changes to access configurations are instantly enforced without the need to manually update the configuration on each Access Terminal.
• More secure – increase security for your organisation by cancelling an individual’s access centrally. It is simple to extend security at a later date as additional Access Terminals can be easily incorporated into the system.
• Be informed – reports allow you to monitor access through each Access Terminal. Configure alerts to be notified when user defined events occur –for example, when access has been denied.
