Secure account management
With Live Register™ Point of Sale (POS) Terminals integrated into your catering
facility students authenticate by placing their thumb on the scanner at the same
time as an operator keys in meal items using a touch sensitive screen.
Students learn to manage their own accounts independently by using Cash Loaders
to check their balance and to top up their account with coins or notes.

- Easy to Manage - No need to issue or re-issue cards when students forget
them. Using the cash loader, students take responsibility for their own account
– topping up is easy.
- Quick - Students identify themselves using their fingerprint at the same
time as an operator keys in their meal items. Operators can process customers in
less than 5 seconds since there is no need to handle cash at the till.
- Reduce Bullying - Students cannot be forced to give up their card or to hand
over their dinner money by other students.
- Improve Student Diets - With extensive reporting you can monitor students’
purchases - students will be highlighted if they are choosing unbalanced diets.
It is also possible to analyse popular lines, to assist in menu planning.
- Free School Lunches - You can monitor that students who are entitled to Free
School Lunches are actually taking them. Complete anonymity of those entitled to
Free School Lunches is maintained at the POS Terminal.
